I am a 5'4 left handed OPP/DS from Wichita Falls. I am also very comfortable and open to playing any position whenever needed. I have played all around in high school, club and college while occasionally stepping in as a setter. Although volleyball is my sport of choice and my goal is to play college volleyball, currently I was a dual sport athlete 8n high school and I benefitted so much from track as a volleyball player. The endurance, speed and vertical that I have gained from my track events have made a huge impact to my performance on the court. I absolutely love volleyball so much so that I play every chance I get. I've played high school, club, city league, fundraisers and college ball as well as just for fun on Friday nights with friends and area coaches at our local youth center. I also like to catch a college game whenever possible. I have come to appreciate being underestimated on the court especially when I play front row. The adrenalin rush and confidence booster from blocking a 6ft. hitter or getting a kill off of a 6 ft. blocker is priceless. I have been blessed to have been given the opportunities I have had so far but I want more for myself. I am a very competitive person and I believe I still have a lot to learn. I still have room for improvement and growth so my dream is to find a competitive team that will appreciate the skills I have yet mentor and guide my development to the next level. Volleyball has taught me discipline, determination and focus on and off the court. These qualities have helped me juggle games, school and work. I will apply these skills in college. I enjoy sports and athletics so I plan to pursue a degree in physical therapy. My dream is to play college volleyball and to contribute to the team not just wear a uniform so choosing a school that will challange me academically and athletically is important. I appreciate every opportunity and will consider each possibility.
