Anna Chapa '20 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Anna Chapa, and I am a Libero/DS for the class of 2020. I have been playing volleyball for the past 8 years; 2 of those years in club, and I still have a deep passion for the sport.

    My dream is to one day earn a college degree and play volleyball at the highest level possible. With wanting to fulfill my dream I know there is still a tough road ahead in wanting to accomplish my goals. I am a very dedicated person on and off of the court with always having the mentality of finishing what I have started. I am a well rounded-person that has courage and faith with everything I do. I am a very coachable player with always having a mind set of wanting to learn something new, fixing my mistakes, and being a leader as a player and a person. One of my strengths is having a full on approach of not wanting to give up even if there is a difficult obstacle in front of me.

    What I love about volleyball the most is that it brings excitement into my life. When I am on the court it is exhilarating, and I know no other sport can make me feel this way. Volleyball has always been a true passion of mine. It is something I take deep pride in. I will continue to reach dreams and when I do, I know I can achieve anything as long as I have a passion for it.
