SARIAH JENSEN '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" opposite from Highland, UT, in the class of 2020. I'm currently playing in my 6th year. This season I am starting JV on the repeat 6A State Champion Lone Peak High School team and made the Elite (hybrid) 17's team with Club V in North Salt Lake for the 2019 season. My Lone Peak JV team went undefeated against 8 other UT high school teams to take 1st in a Tournament in September.

Last club season I played on a top 16s Club V team that took 3rd place in the Junior Girls Invitational Tournament in San Diego last May. I also played middle on the top-ranked Club Utah 14's team in the Power League. This team finished 14th in the state among all age groups.

I have played DS, setter, middle and opposite with great success and consider myself a very versatile player with good hands and game smarts. In the 2018 season for Lone Peak, I am playing opposite, back row, and outside as needed. I never miss practice and take private lessons with different coaches multiple times per month and attend camps and events through Club V regularly.

I consider myself a great listener and love learning from my coaches and other athletes. I always love my teammates and I'm known for the positive energy I bring to the game.

My GPA is 3.67 and I took the ACT for the first time and will be retaking, but I am already planning for college opportunities. I am open to a college anywhere in the the country and would love to play for any competitive team. I am very interested in a career in sports psychology or nursing. I hope to find a program where I can really make a contribution to the team.
