Ilamarie Tuua '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play volleyball for a competitive D1 university, I hope to find a good program that fits me.  Living with 6 little brothers, I am a strong independent person with natural leadership who is able to push others around me.  I am also mentally strong- I don't let anyone negatively affect me.  In fact, negativity drives me and helps me to push myself to be a better player.

I am a positive athlete who plays for my teammates and for my high school/ club.  As a setter, I don't get to hit very often, but assisting my hitters to kills has the same feeling as hitting the ball on the 10 ft line. I love to assist my hitters and help them believe in themselves and play their best.  I got my teammates back through everything, they're my second family. 

Academically, I don't ever quit. I do like a challenge so I have taken honor classes in all my core classes. They are helping me to prepare for my college career.
