As an 8th grader, all of my friends were put on the freshman team and I was cut and put on the team below them. After this I did everything in my power to never let that happen again. I started training, practicing on my own, coming early and staying late to practices, etc. During this process I fell in love with the game and never looked back. Through playing volleyball for many years now I've been able to use and grow my natural leadership abilities and passion for everything I do. It is my grit and determination to make myself the best player I can be that got me where I am today.
My goals for any team I play for is to do everything in my power to make my team successful. Whether that means putting in extra practice or training hours, picking up a team mate during a game, or just having a positive yet determined attitude. I believe that hard work is the key to being successful in not only sports but life. As I finish out high school I want to maintain my 3.5 GPA and keep that up through college, where I plan to further my education to become a Registered Dietician. No matter what team I am playing on I believe I bring a strong leadership ability to motive and encourage my team. I am passionate about the game and it shows on the court. I am looking for a school that will both help me achieve my goals academically and athletically. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue my volleyball career, play at the next level and make an impact on any team I play for and represent. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
