I began playing volleyball when I was 14 years old after I decided to quit my main sport, soccer. I found my passion for volleyball, learned the game quickly and improved in a short amount of time. Once I was in 10th grade, I was a starter on the Sophomore, JV and Varsity teams and was named 2nd Team-All Region as well as Most Inspirational team mate. I got injured shortly after and couldn’t return to play for almost a year. Now I currently play club on High Country Volleyball 18s team.
I aim to play collegiate level volleyball at a great school outside of Utah, and I work hard every day both on the court and in the classroom to achieve my goal. Volleyball has taught me to adapt to change, manage stress efficiently and always look out for my teammates. I am incredibly determined to continue playing this sport and I am always looking for ways to further improve my skills.
