My name is KyLee Palmer, I am a Libero and will be graduating with the class of 2023. I have played volleyball for 7 years now and love it more each year. Especially with how my skills and knowledge of the game gets better. I first started when I was 11 years old. I’ve always been athletic as a child, so I was excited to try a new sport. I started in a recreational league. My coach saw my potential and desire and pointed me towards the club leagues. The next season I was fortunate to find a team and my love for the sport grew out of control. Since my first year playing club volleyball I have been fortunate enough to play at the highest levels that have been offered. Traveling to various local and national tournaments. Playing beach volleyball in the summers and now find myself able to play in High School.
In the last few years I have become more serious about the sport because I would really love to play in college and if I can make it a career. I have thought of nothing else for the past 4 years. Whenever I’m bored you will always find me doing something volleyball related. I am on my phone watching volleyball clips on social media, finding open gyms to play in, going outside and peppering with myself or my dad, and going to see the University of Utah play whenever I get the chance. Volleyball is just a part of my life and I want that to continue during and past college.
