Kaitlyn Owens '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, 

My name is Kaitlyn Owens. I am a setter from Ashburn, VA. I have been playing volleyball since I was 7 and have absolutely fallen in love with the sport. Ever since then I have wanted to be the like the girls I see on TV. I have put in a lot of work over the years which has allowed me to play at a higher level than a lot of the girls my age. I am currently on Virginia Elite. I was also on the Varsity team for my high school, Broad Run, and was one of the captains! I also have to work even harder to maintain a 4.0 GPA and keep up with the difficult classes that I take. Managing all of this is very hard and can be very stressful at times, but I know it will prepare me for my future responsibilities. I am excited for what is to come in my volleyball career and to further my skills in high school, travel, and even at a collegiate level.
