My name is Julia Choe. My college goals and aspirations are to graduate in four years and get a double major with a business degree. What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I social and love getting to know people. I am quick to know how my team mates play and adapting to them so we are able to play to out best abilities. I am a good captain as to directing the team on the court; and not just by playing but by getting them out of their heads in order for us to have fun but play smart. As a student athlete I play high school volleyball and have played on my schools teams all of high school. Freshman year I was on Junior Varsity, sophomore year I was on Junior Varsity and Varsity, and junior year I was on my varsity team. Freshman year I attended a public school and later in my sophomore year I transferred to a private school, that is why I was able to play on JV and Varsity my sophomore year. Junior year I was the team captain and carried my team to state playoffs and got second. After my school season ends, I go into club season. I have been playing club since I was in eighth grade and have stayed at the same club since. I play libero and am team captain for my current team (17 select). Besides sports, in school I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and have gotten MVP the past two years at my schools award ceremony. I have also gotten many class awards for participation. I am a girl scout of 10 years and plan on graduation with a gold award and scholarship. I have played the piano for 10 years and also plan on getting an advanced scholarship in piano.
