Taylor Hunt '20 Recruiting Profile

The first time i stepped on a volleyball court i  had this amazing feeling that i can't even explain; i was in love in that moment already. I started playing volleyball when 5th grade, i loved it so much that i walked right on to a travel team & from there i've been striving bigger & bigger. I've had the same dream since that day, to take this all the way. Every time i dig, pass, set, or hit i have this smile that makes my cheeks hurt & my love for the sport shows in every pass, in every drop of sweat. I am not the tallest but my parents have always told me i play like i'm a giant. I am  dedicated and determined. I hustle, give my all in every position in every practice or game i never give up on my team or the ball & i love every second of it. i have played everywhere but middle. My 1st position is libero my 2nd is opposite or DS but no matter where i am put i give my all & show my passion through every single play. Volleyball has become such apart of me that I don't really know who I would be without it. it has taught me how to be patient & a team player & so much more. It's formed me into the person I am today. This is my passion, my love, who i am. I will always show the love, determination, passion, hustle, & teamwork everytime I touch the ball. My dream of playing in college is so big that sometimes it keeps me up at night. It's all i could want. I am a great team worker, my coaches call me "the energy" because they say i bring a positive energy & bring us up when my team is down. I give my full self in all my passions; such as school, music, my job,volleyball, & other sports. I believe that if you are going to do something then the love you have for whatever you're doing should resonate through you and affect the people around you while you are doing it. This is definitely a goal i have achieved in volleyball.
