Camryn McGrady '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Camryn McGrady.  I am a senior at Grayson County High School in Independence, VA.  I am a middle hitter for our volleyball team and have played varsity since I was a freshman.  As a sophomore, I received the Mountain Empire District Player of the Year. I was also Region C first team, as well as all-state honorable mention. As a junior I received Southern Empire Conference Player of the Year.  I was also Region C first team, as well as all-state second team.  This season, I have over 300 kills, along with 88 blocks.   I also play varsity basketball, and have since I was a freshman.  I was first team all - district as a sophomore and on the Region C team as well.

My dream is to go college and get a good education while being an active player on the volleyball court.  I have a 3.9 GPA and I believe I can contribute to winning on the court as well as in the classroom.  I am a very hard worker and will do anything that is asked of me.  I have a competitive heart and a mindset to always give 110%.

I aspire to graduate from a University with a degree in my field of study.  I know that it will take hard work to play volleyball in college and continue making good grades as well.  I will always strive to be the best I can be.
