Personal Statement
I started my sporting career before I can even remember. My mom put me in tumbling, gymnastics, tap and ballet, and swimming where I won regionals when I was in second grade! I started soccer when I was 4, and always loved the competitiveness of team sports. I played travel soccer until I was introduced to volleyball in 5th grade and never looked back. I joined a local Club team in 6th grade and from that point on I was always trying to up my game.
I landed at Paramount and I love the energy and the high level play it offers. I love that we practice hard and play hard; we play to win. As the DS, I am a key player on my team. I am a positive force and keep our energy high to power through when we are behind. Our team is ranked 31st in the nation, 1st in the Chesapeake Region, and we placed 5th at Nationals in the National Division.
I also love my Loudoun Valley High School team. We are a competitive team, but just as important, I am playing with friends I've known since middle and even elementary school. I enjoy the less intense atmosphere that high school offers. But I have to admit, come Club season, I'm ready to get back to higher level of play! My goal is to play in college on a team where the other players are as dedicated to the sport as I am, work hard, play hard, eat well, and have fun together.
