My family and I moved from Belize when I entered middle school so my sisters and I good get a better education, When we were introduced to sports in PE I immediately gravitated towards volleyball because it reminded me of home. In 7th grade, I played on the JV B high school team. In 8th and 9th grade I played on the JV high school team. In 10th grade I made the varsity team and was a starter my Junior year. My St. Catherine's high school varsity team has been undefeated in our LIS league for 9 years. I began playing travel volleyball at the Richmond Volleyball club when I was 14 on the 14 State team as a hitter. I transitioned to defense as a DS when I was 15. I was on the 16 State team. This year as a 17 year old, I am playing "up" a year on the 18 zonal team. My dream is to play at the collegiate level. I am interested in business and marine biology, environmental science. I would like to take the skills I learn as an athlete about teamwork and grit combined with my academic education back to Belize to improve the quality of life for my community as well as protect the environment. I will work hard to make you, my team, my family and my country proud.
