Amelia "Millie" Hale '21 Recruiting Profile

When I started playing volleyball, I was ten years old and had moved across the country, and I was looking for something to take my mind off of the major changes happening in my life. I fell in love with everything about the sport, including the team dynamic that’s created, how energetic and excited you can get, and just playing overall. I have learned so much about myself in my past seven years of playing, including my level of dedication to what I find important, that I am incredibly scrappy, and I’m more extroverted than I had originally thought. 

Academically, I have the same goal as everyone else, which is to obtain good grades, but more importantly, I want to walk out of my school every day knowing that I put in maximum effort and learned something. That same goal will follow into college. I want to end every day that I have a class knowing that I am one step closer to achieving my goals, whatever they happen to be at that time.

I would be a good fit for your team because I am strong, scrappy, outgoing, and most importantly if I set my mind to something I will do everything in my power to achieve that goal.
