Personal Statement
Stepping onto the court going on my fourth year playing, I couldn't imagine what life would be like without volleyball. As I watch college teams play, I dream of one day being part of such an accomplishment. Being able to see what could possibly happen is such an inspiration to strive to do my best at all times. Playing at the college level is an unbelievable possibility that could change my life forever.
I have a hard swing and I am able to read the open spots on the court when going for an attack. I have a positive attitude that I try to encourage other people with on and off the court. I am very coachable and I do my best to apply the advice a coach gives when playing. Every new match I work harder and harder. I strive to always do my best and not give up no matter what the outcome of the game will be. I will compete every point and not only play aggressive but also play smart.
I have a high GPA that I am always finding ways to improve. I'm currently Vice President in the ASB cabinet. I try and volunteer in the public as much as possible. The last two years I've volunteered at a silent auction that has raised money for the Coupeville School District's Booster Club. My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself not only on the court, but also in my studies. I am open to almost all options to find a college that would offer the highest level of competition for me. My goal is to compete on the court at a college level and to earn a degree that I can build a life long career from.
