Personal Statement
My name is Kara Nitteberg. I am a senior at Central Valley High School (4A) in Spokane Valley, WA. I will be attending college in the fall of 2015. I am a 5’ 9” six rotation player. I play Libero, DS, and Outside for my school and club teams. I have lettered each of my high school years. This November (2014) will be my 7th year of club volleyballl. I continue to enhance my volleyball skills and athletic performance with year-round technical training and sports performance conditioning.
I love this sport! I have developed a strong understanding of game strategy and have a great sense of the court. I pride myself on my ability to read the ball. It has been my privilege to play with some very competitive and talented players – both high school and club. Being part of and supporting my team is very important to me.
I am open to opportunities at all division levels but I’m particularly interested in a college with strong academics and a competitive volleyball program in which I can contribute positively. I excel in an environment that sets high expectations of its players. I look forward to having an opportunity to visit with you!
