Personal Statement

Hi coaches! Thanks for visiting my NCSA profile. I’m a 6’1’’ freshman at Highline College, primarily a middle hitter, but a couple of my coaches have put me on the outside and right side. My standing reach is 7’10’’, my block jump is 9’7’’, and my approach jump is 10’1’’. My team accomplished a lot this season. We ranked 2nd in the Western region and 4th NWACS. I also made 1st team for 2A in the Greater St. Helens League in high school. Please check out my play from the recent college season in my videos. On my teams, I tend to get along well with everyone. I try and play for the team instead of myself.

Currently my plan is to major in psychology with the goal of becoming a therapist. I’ve always liked learning about different languages and cultures as well. I studied Japanese for 10 years and went to Japan in 5th grade. This is how I discovered my love for traveling. Since coming to Highline I’ve resumed my Japanese studies.

About two years ago, my family moved from Seattle to the Portland area suburb of Washougal. After two years there I committed to Highline, moving me closer to home once more.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
