Currently I play on my high school team, class of 2017, and I consider myself a very hardworking and coachable athlete.
To tell you a little about myself, I am a Libero/Defensive Specialist at my school, as well as on my club team. I am always willing to give 100% on the court and willing to work hard off the court as well.
My speed and agility sets me apart. I’ve been voted as Team Captain which shows my leadership. My success on the court has led me to receiving awards as Most Improved and MVP. I've also lettered in varsity and started many matches as a junior Libero.
As a student, I'm very disciplined, responsible, and a self-starter. It's never easy fitting homework in between school and practice but I always try my best to work hard in maintaining good grades. I currently have a 3.5 GPA.
Before volleyball I was involved in competitive sports as a gymnast in Junior Olympics. I started at the age of 7, which helped me to develop a very strong work ethic. This has molded me into an athlete, allowing me to deal with the pressures of tough volleyball matches and to be a competitive player.
I think one of the most important reasons for playing college volleyball is to earn my degree.
