Personal Statement
Going to college/university has always been the plan but it’s been a dream of mine to play college volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since fifth grade and it has always been a passion of mine. In high school I started on the varsity team as a setter and right side. I lead my team in aces.
My sophomore year my coach had me start as a setter, right side, and sometimes a left-side hitter. This year I lead The Great Northern Conference in aces and was third in attack percentage. I received most valuable player and a unanimous vote by all coaches for first team all conference. Later I was acknowledged for honorable mention for All-area. I love being a team player and working together to achieve our goals.
Sports are important to me but so are my grades. I currently have a 3.79 GPA. I’m going to strive to get straight A’s and carry on being involved. In college I would like to pursue and major in Health Care and Education. I want to help anyone with physical or educational needs. My goals are to continuing doing academically well and being a team player on and off the court.
