My goal heading into college is to continue playing volleyball and study sports management, a career that will combine two of my passions- sports and working with others. I have loved playing volleyball over the past eight years, but have loved my experiences with the people that have surrounded me more. Whether it be managing sporting events or working with coaches, players and the media, the skills I hope to grow in college and playing on a collegiate team will help me fulfill this dream.
I've been playing volleyball since 5th grade and club since 6th. I've been on Varsity volleyball since my freshman year and continued to play on club teams including Wisconsin Premiere, I Am, and Sting. Throughout high school, I've also played on the Varsity softball team for the past three years, served on Student Council for four years, organized retreats, and participated in Campus Ministry. Learning how to balance it all, in addition to my academics, has prepared me to play volleyball in college. Playing volleyball over the past eight years has taught me leadership, patience, the value of teamwork, and a strong work ethic to achieve my goals in volleyball. So, what makes me different? My dedication, a fighting spirit, and an enduring sense of gratitude for my team, coaches, and the game that has given me so much.
