I started playing volleyball when I was 12 years old. Every time I step on the court, I grow to love the sport more and more. This drives me to be competitive, push myself and others, and be a team leader. I've learned that in order to become a better athlete, I need to be coach-able and work my hardest at practice and in games. I make it a goal at each practice and game to be encouraging to my teammates. I want to use the talents the Lord has given me in both volleyball and academics to be a role model for others. I strive to maintain good grades as well as a high GPA. School is very important to me. Playing volleyball at the collegiate level would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and would allow me to play with other girls that have the same goals as me.
