Hello, my name is Taylor Birr. I am a 5'11'' setter from Pulaski, Wisconsin.
One of my goals from little on is to become a college athlete and to never stop growing as a volleyball player because there is always something I can get better at every day. I aspire to be better and better and find myself never satisfied. As a player, I will keep a positive attitude and continue to work my hardest with my team on and off the court. This past season, I was humbly awarded FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE in the Fox River Classic Conference. My sophomore season, I received ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM HONORS at UW-OSHKOSH and I also received ALL-CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION in the FRCC.
As for academics, I have maintained a 3.95 GPA throughout my junior year, and hope to continue upon that. In my family, academics always come first and I believe that has made me the student-athlete I am today. I am in AP and Advanced classes and recently was inducted into the National Honor Society. I also have been in the HIGHEST HONOR ROLL my sophomore year and the HIGH HONOR ROLL my freshman year. I am apart of my school's Leo Club which is a volunteering organization. We help out at food pantries and various community events. I additionally am part of the longest student-run newspaper in the nation, the Pulaski News, where I am a reporter, writer, and photographer. Besides volleyball, I am also on the varsity softball team.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I hope to be in contact with you soon.
Have a great day,
