My goals and aspirations for attending college are to find the right fit for me both athletically and academically. Finding an atmosphere where I am comfortable with the campus, learning environment, coaches, teammates and facilities is important. Understanding change and how it affects me will also be important as college will be different as I will be away from home, family and friends, but volleyball has helped me in many ways to be able to adjust to this as I have attended many camps, tournaments and clinics where I have made friends and some I consider family.
Being part of a volleyball team is more than just playing a sport, it has helped with understanding how to relate to others. It has helped build my character as our teams have been families and sometimes in families there are times where I have had to be a leader and times where following another teammates lead is best. Being part of these teams has helped my confidence and mental approach to things as understanding failure happens, but it is what you do after it happens that matters most.
I love volleyball and would like the opportunity to show you the athletic ability I have; hidden treasures are the best, searching for them is hard, but finding them is rare.
