This following statement will be my last as I have concluded my high school sports career.
I had the greatest blessing to be selected on the varsity team, my freshman year. I played an outside hitting position my freshman year, only playing front row. My sophomore and junior year I had continued to play strong side, however, now I would play all six rotations. As my junior season closed, the team would graduate our power, go to, middle blocker. I was then asked by my coach to start focusing on middle plays as I became the tallest and most experienced player on the team. Coming into my senior season I would play a majority of my games as a middle blocker, with the exception if I was needed to swing strong side, I would be moved. Although not recognized by the booster club, nor the school, I am glad to have been a Shawano athlete.
As of February 2017 I have made a verbal commitment to continue to play volleyball and attend the University of Maine at Presque Isle. While at UMPI I will be studying Environmental Sustainability.
I'd like to thank the NCSA staff for keeping up with me since I became a member in 2014. Without this online program I might not have been able to continue my favorite sport I am most passionate about. I'd also like to thank the coaches who've shown interest in me, and the coaches who've worked with me through camps and clinics.
