My name is Ava Perkins. I am a 17-year-old senior at Stoughton High School. Volleyball has always been a significant part of my life. I started by going to camps in 5th grade, and now I am always pushing myself to get better. I was on the freshman team my freshman year but worked hard during the off-season to make it possible to be on varsity my sophomore year. This year in 12th grade, I am a starting setter on the varsity volleyball team, as well as a captain, at Stoughton High School. Academics, however, are most important to me. I take pride in the fact that I work hard enough to be a three-sport varsity athlete with a 4.0 GPA. In all, hard work is essential to me, and I am always willing to improve.
