Personal Statement

Playing college volleyball has always been a dream of mine.  I have played club volleyball since 11 years old as a setter with experience and ability to play a 5-1 or 6-2 depending on the coach and the team dynamics.  Playing a 5-1 has taught me to become versatile proving myself as a good front row player.  Blocking is one of my strengths and offensive skills as a front row setter have been developed due to playing a 5-1.  Setters are also great leaders responsible for running the offense on the court and this comes very natural and enjoyable to me.  The fun and challenge that comes with those responsibilities truly challenge me to continually improve and learn more about excelling in volleyball.  I have developed so many friendships being part of a team and through volleyball that I don’t want that to end after high school.  I love the game so much and I love the team work and individual challenges needed to have a successful volleyball team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
