Parker Mooren '20 Recruiting Profile

The highlight of my volleyball career this far is making the Varsity team as a sophomore. I go to a large school and making the team is difficult. After tryouts, I was placed on the sophomore team, but within a couple weeks I had battled back and won a starting position on the Varsity team. It is through determination and hard work that I accomplished this. The speed of varsity ball is what I love the most. I enjoy the intensity and excitement of playing with the older girls and the pressure it involves.  

A goal of mine is to play volleyball at the next level. Ideally, I would like to be at a school with a highly competitive athletic program as well as an outstanding academic reputation as I am considering a career in speech pathology. I would like to be at a school where I could make an immediate impact on the court. I feel I bring an energy level to the court that is contagious and powerful.
