Hi, my name is Jeniah Lovingood. I am a 5’10” Senior at Tongue River High School, in Dayton, WY. I play outside hitter and also right-side hitter and middle hitter positions, as well. I grew up watching my older sister and older brother play varsity volleyball in high school, which helped to foster my love of the game. I have an unyielding passion for volleyball and I have always wanted to go to the next level as a top-level volleyball student-athlete at a college or university that fits my needs and educational goals. I understand that this goal will not come without commitment, sacrifice, dedication and hard work. These qualities I strive for daily in my academics and sports commitments. I believe in the importance of working to excel both on the court and in the classroom. I have a 3.57 GPA and am taking dual enrollment courses through Sheridan Community College. I am a member of the Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society and The National Society of High School Scholars. My educational goal is to become a Civil Engineer. I also participate in outdoor and indoor track. I hold school records in the 55m dash, long jump, and shot put.
In 2023, I attended America’s #1 College Volleyball Training Camp through Exact Sports. It is my goal to continue to grow and improve as an elite volleyball player as I pursue my dream of playing at the collegiate level. This past 2024 volleyball season, my varsity team won 2nd place at the East 2A Volleyball Regionals and won 2nd place at the Wyoming 2A Volleyball State Championship. I was also awarded All-Conference and All-State accolades.
