Ever since 4th grade, I have always had the dream of playing volleyball in college. I have worked very hard to where I am today, on and off the court. Everything I achieve consists of hard work and diligence. Academically, I consistently have been on the A-honor roll, am a member of the National Honors Society program, and have maintained on average a 3.8-4.0 gpa throughout my high school career. Challenges such as homework, studying for tests, and other things that are difficult have never become something that I won't do. I would like to pursue a degree in Nursing, while playing college volleyball at the highest level that I am capable of.
Along with being academically stable, I am also a good team player and work hard everyday in practice as well as games. There isn't a time where I don't encourage my teammates, help them out, and most of all have fun with them. I have taken on many different positions throughout the past three years of high school volleyball. This consists of the middle, outside, and right side hitter positions, as well as very much experience with defense in the back row. I am very flexible when it comes to where a coach wants me to play. Over spring and summer, I am always working to become a better player for the upcoming season. I attend several volleyball camps in the summer, attend open gyms, and play on the Greybull Volleyball Club AAU team in the spring. As well as putting in the time to become a better well-rounded player in volleyball, I am also planning to maintain a summer job, spend time with family, and better myself in basketball as well.
