Emily Painton '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Emily Painton. I have been playing water polo competitively for 3 years and was a competitive swimmer for the previous 10 years. I have been on varsity since my freshman year and became a varsity starter during my sophomore year and was awarded the "Mustang Award" (coaches award). I have grown so much as an athlete while playing for CHAWP water polo club. I've learned a lot about myself from playing sports and they've helped me realize that I am dedicated and focused both inside and outside the pool. I strive to be the best I can possibly be. I am good listener and take pointers that are given to me. I am able to set my goals and reach them even though I may face challenges throughout the process.  I mainly play set and point but  I play well in every other position. I get along well with teammates and try my best to be a good asset to the team by being a positive influence and bring my teammates up along with me. As much as I value water polo, my education always comes first. I intend to major in nursing and pursue a career in Labor and Delivery. Thank you for your time.
