Justine Mojarro '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justine Mojarro. I am currently 17 years old and a senior at Charter Oak High School. I am an IB and Honors student with a 4.2 weighted GPA. I began playing water polo my freshman year in high school and immediately fell in love with the sport. My competitiveness and aggressiveness earned me the Coach's award in the Frosh/Soph division. I was moved up to Varsity my sophomore year and was used as a utility player. As a junior, my dedication and hard work earned me a spot as a starter. My main positions played are 4-5 and set. This was the first year we were moved up to the Sierra League Division and, as I type this personal statement, we finished the season 9th in our division and have made it to CIF. I have attended every practice and never miss an opportunity to be in the water. Along with playing water polo, I have been part of the varsity swim team. In order to maximize my opportunity to continue playing water polo in college, I am open to any college opportunity. Ultimately, I would like to attend law school. Therefore, my undergrad major should relate to pre-law. I am also interested in any and all financial assistance that is available to me.
