I've started playing water polo since I was in 7th grade and its been a key part of my life ever since. When I play I leave it all out on the court while having fun at the same time. I've been very tomboyish my whole life, where I enjoy working out with others as passion and I'm not afraid of getting dirty or hurt. I enjoy getting stronger with my teammates and seeing how far we can go when we push our limits. Water polo gave all of these feeling to me because the sport feels different its tactical, skillful, hardworking, and shows teamwork as a key component as the team works as smoothly as possible.

- athlete dialed in on their shooting skills before the busy summer tournament season with SOCAL's very own shooting specialist, Coach Shane Unger. Coach Shane will be running two age appropriate clinics to review fundamental shooting skills such as balance, position, follow through, location, and increasing velocity. Athletes will then progress to advanced shooting techniques such as shot set up, pump fakes, look offs, moving into open water and improving angles, that will carry them into the busy tournament season ahead.
