My mother enrolled me in our local swim program at the age of 4. I became a competitive swimmer and met my best friend whose parents are water polo coaches. They invited me to join the local water polo club where I came to love the sport. I have now been playing water polo over five years and have attended Junior Olympics four times. I have always been asked to play with the age group ahead of me and have gained valuable experience doing so. I have participated in the Olympic Development Program attending the Holiday Camp in Colorado, participating on the zone team for the last three years, and was selected to attend the National Team Selection Camp as a goalie. During both my freshman and sophomore years, I was selected to play on the varsity team as a field player and goalie. During each of these two years we won the Valley Championship. These experiences have helped me learn about the meaning of commitment and that my team is my second family. I have strong social skills and utilize my sense of humor to encourage others.
Over the next two years of high school I hope to achieve a 4.0 GPA, complete all AP classes successfully and continue to grow as a player. My goal is to play water polo while completing college and then get accepted to veterinary school. I believe that I am a strong team player and will make a positive impact on your team!
