Hi, I would like to make a difference in a child's life. As many as possible, really. I believe the best way for me to do that is; to go to college and become a teacher. Since I was in elementary school, I have been drawn to helping others, mostly younger than myself. The Kindergarten teachers would pull me out of my 4th and 5th grade class, to assist them in many ways. I really enjoyed this and have wanted to become a teacher, not only from those experiences, but also from assisting my grandmother's 1st Grade class. I have been inspired by many teachers in my life; my mother, my grandmother, my aunt and not to forget, some of the teachers that I have had myself.
I have been around, loved, watched and played Water Polo since I was 7. You see, I have two older sisters, both played, one of them is six years older than I and she started playing when she was a freshman in High School. That is when I first found this sport and signed up at our local pool. I have played ever since. I absolutely love to play Water Polo! I love every part of it, the game itself, playing with other girls who love to play, working together as a team, for the goal, for the win and for the fun of playing. i also help run local tournaments, I manage the boys water polo high school team and help coach young players, new to the sport. I feel water polo will be a part of my life for many years to come. I would be extremely happy to have the chance for water polo to be a part of my college experience.
Thank you for your consideration.
