Gabriella Graniello '24 Recruiting Profile

  I started playing water polo competitively when I was 8, starting with 12U, and from there it just took off!!  Having the opportunity to play water polo at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. 

 I am looking for a program that I can contribute to, but also be challenged by its players and coaching staff in order to improve my game. I believe the combination of hard work, motivation, and my desire to constantly improve will not only allow me to reach these goals but also make me a great candidate for any team. 

I would like to think I am a very coachable athlete, and when receiving feedback, I do not take things personally but instead use the feedback to better my skills. I am a team player who works hard to reach my personal goals at the same time working towards achieving the goals of my team. I have developed a high water polo IQ which has helped me to become a quick, smart defensive and offensive player.
