2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Kielle Leggo, and I am a Senior at Great Oak High School (Class of 2021). I am a proud member of Elite Water Polo Club. I began my Water Polo journey when I was in seventh grade as a member of Empire Water Polo Club. My Freshman year of High School, I was a Junior Varsity Starter, and by the time my Sophomore year came, I was the sprinting starter on Varsity. A few of my prior coaches called me a utility player, as they had put me wherever they needed me. However, I am now focusing on developing my skills as an attacker and center-forward attacker. My strengths in Water Polo include my very powerful skip-shot, my ability to leg up extremely high, having excellent play-memorization, and that I can swiftly read and act on game situations. Academically speaking, I have impressive time management skills, which I find to be vital for a successful student-athlete. I completed my Junior year with a 4.7 GPA and in my Senior year of High School I aspire to achieve a 5.0 GPA and earn a full IB diploma. My Post-High School Goals are to work towards a Clinical Psychology degree, while furthering my athletic presence. My academic strengths are that I have a profound sense of curiosity, I can control my time remarkably well, and I always strive for my highest goals.
