Competing and participating in team work has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember whether it be soccer, school, water polo, or marching band. However when I stepped onto that pool deck the summer before ninth grade, I had fallen in love with water polo. Through playing water polo I have learned how to be a leader, how to be a team player, and how important dedication is. My commitment to my team and to the game has honed my physical skills as well as my intellectual skills, these skills have allowed me to flourish in the pool and in the classroom. Competing at the collegiate level is extremely important to me because continuing to explore the power of team work, hard work, and commitment is something I value in my growth as an individual. My passion and drive to work hard in water polo has only grown since I have started and I am looking to further my growth after high school. Playing at a high level is absolutely a priority for me and I know that no matter where I am going I will work hard to be a reliable asset on any team.
