My goals for this year are to try and improve as much as I can before my senior year in hopes I can get a scholarship offer from colleges. I will be playing club (Olando Thunder) as well as swimming (high school varsity team) to keep improving speed and game skill. What makes me a good candidate for any team is that I am an extremely hard worker when it comes to my sport and academics. In school I tend to struggle to understand often because of my learning disability, so I've always had to work extra hard to achieve just the average grade, so I have to go above and beyond for what I want and that carries over into my sport. I will stand out from other recruits because of my dedication to going to practices consistently and being on time. Water polo will be my top priority (next to academics of course). My ability to work with others no matter the circumstance will help the team work better together. We work better together if we can all respect each other and get along, in and out of the pool. Most importantly, I am coachable. There will never be a time when I won't take constructive criticism from my coaches and teammates. I know I still have a lot to learn, and I am more than excited to get the opportunity to get feedback and also help my teammates learn as well, we are a team, and the game cannot be won without teamwork.
I started swimming on my high school swim team when I entered my freshmen year in 2021. I had never swam on a completive swim team before, so it was Definity a little out of my comfort zone. However, after swimming then trying water polo, I immediately knew I wanted to play this sport all year round. This is when I joined my first club team (Central Florida Suns). I learned a lot from my coaches and team mates on this team but ended up switching teams because I felt like I needed a stronger connection with my teammates. So now I drive 45 minutes every morning to play with girls who positivity helped me play better in the game. This club (Orlando Thunder) has given me the Oppurtunite to play positions I never knew I could play. I know play hole set for Olando Thunder, and it has given me the confidence I needed to play and learn much more than I ever did before. We attended Junior Olympics in Dallas Texas, and it was the best opportunity for me to really learn how to be a 2M player.
