My name is Darianliz Cruz, I’m 16 years old, and my nickname is "Chili". I am a senior and I assist to Palm Beach Central High. I considered my self as a serious person. I like to work hard to get what I want. I focus a lot on school and sports. I like to keep my grades high all the time, even though I am from Puerto Rico and English is not my first language. I’m a good student, I always work hard in school. I think I have the skills to play Water Polo, I work hard every practice to get better In it. I work hard for whatever I want, for example when I get to Palm Beach Central they didn’t have a Water Polo team and I work for it and right now I’m the captain of the team. I like and I used to help people with everything then I can help, whether in personal life, academically or in sports, for example when my school create the Water Polo team no one knows how to play and I teach my whole team how to play, now they all know how to play and every practice my team get better. I am an attentive person, I like to learn new things, I never give up like if I do something wrong in a game then I practice that many times to get better in that and the next time do it well. I always do my best to get better as a player. My goal is to be a professional player of Water Polo, and I work so hard for that in every practice and games. I think that school go first, for that reason I first focus in my school and grades and then I focus on my sport for example when I was in Puerto Rico in 9th grade I had to wait to finish the school to be able to travel to Fort Lauderdale to play in a tournament representing Puerto Rico. And like I said I think that I have the skills to get a scholarship for Water Polo and I going to work hard for it.
