Personal Statement

My name is Lauren Norman, class of 2019. I primarily play hole set and 2-meter defender.  

I would love to play water polo after I end my high school career. My love for water polo has formed over a short time and that love just fuels me, even more, to want to be better at the sport. I am very determined and consider myself to be a relatively quick learner in and out the water. I enjoy being on a team with a family dynamic as I like to be close to my teammates as well as my coach. I think this is what makes playing a sport and being on a team that much more fun and is something I look for on a college team. 

I love animals, and in college, I plan on putting that love to use. I would love to go college somewhere where I could study Animal Biology and/or Behavior. Ultimately, I plan to be a veterinarian in the future so Pre- Veterinary science would be my ideal major and focus. Animals have been in my life since I was born and are extremely important to me.
