Personal Statement

My freshman year,  some of the upperclassmen on the swim team suggested that I try water polo and I was excited.  Now, I can't imagine my life without it.  I fell in love with the game and the challenges that come with it.  At my size and with my swimming background and enthusiasm, I maybe a latecomer to the game, but I was meant to play.

Coping with school and twenty plus hours a week of practice and training is a lot.  There have been many late and sleepless nights, but studying and preparation also give me confidence.

I love the aggressive, competitive world of water polo and I love representing my school.  I can't imagine giving up water polo after high school.  I want to find a school where I can play competitive water polo and continue to improve my game.  I want a team where everyone is a serious, committed player.  I'm big, fast, and tough.  I work really hard and I'm passionate about the game.  I know there's a place for me on a college team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
