Personal Statement

I have always loved swimming as well as ball sports such as hockey and netball so when I found waterpolo, I immediately fell in love.  I have played waterpolo for the past 8 years and I have loved every moment of it - from the national and international tours to the treacherous training weekend of preseason known as "hell week". Other than waterpolo, I have played multiple sports throughout my high school and primary school careers such as netball,  hockey and tennis. I am also extremely culturally involved as I hold an ABRSM grade 7 flute level and am part of both my schools' orchestra and flute ensemble. I am an extremely well rounded, hard working individual and due to my competitive nature, push myself to my limits to ensure I produce nothing but the best. My biggest goal in water polo is to represent my country at a FINA world championship or at the Olympics.
