As far back as I can remember I have competed in sports. First as a competitive Gymnast. I worked hard to move up multiple levels and make our gym's competition team. The last year, I was plagued by injuries, but gutted through them, because I didn't want to let my team down. Then 4 years ago, I saw a flyer for water polo and decided to try it. I didn't really know what it was. Since that time, I have played every semester and summers.
I'm very competitive. I work hard on defense to prevent the other team from scoring. Last year I was asked to play Center D. I get to shut people down in front of the net, and I lead the team on offense by passing the ball up. I also get to take shots on goal from farther away so I work with a personal trainer at the gym to improve my upper body strength.
If there is one thing you should know about me, is that when I am in the pool I don't want to let my coach or team down.
