I started my sports career with Jiu Jitsu and moved onto wrestling when my coaches recommended joining my high school’s team. I was the only girl on the team and though it took me out of my comfort zone I enjoyed the challenge, and I also believe it helped me grow as a person as well as a wrestler. Anytime I step on the mat or enter a classroom, my goal is always to learn from those who know more than me and I am always trying to push myself mentally and physically.
