Personal Statement
Hello, I am Marissa Angelica Vasquez. I am a first year wrestler who would like to pursue a collegiate career. This sounds unheard of but the amount of progress I made in my first year sets me aside from other wrestlers. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about wrestling to placing at Division 1 CIF championships, competing against some of San Diego's best wrestlers. I am a Tri-athlete which shows my motivation to be the best athlete I can. I am a hard worker and will do whatever it takes to achieve my goal.
