Personal Statement
I, Kaden Campbell have been wrestling and very involved in this sport for about 12 years. I made the decision at an early age that I would like to pursue the Olympic dream and have proven that this goal is not unreachable for myself. It wasn't long after that I had a coach that introduced me to Henry Cejudo and I was able to try on his Gold Olympic Medal from 2008. From that moment on I was hooked. Needless to say, that wrestling and competing means so much more to me, it has been making history for girls in Colorado and paving the way for the younger ladies. I've really enjoyed convincing my friends and family that my passion was going to be more than just a "Dream". Although the goal is to be in the Olympics I have other goals such as pursuing college wrestling, world titles, medical field career, and continuing with Team USA. Wrestling creates discipline, leadership and determination that I may never have found had it not been for the support and "family" I have gained through this sport. I overall have a passion that enjoys giving back to this Sport and proving to young ladies that they can be strong leaders with a little motivation and athleticism.
