I know as a Women I am making history just by being on the mat. I want to continue this history throughout my life and college will help me do so by getting my name out there for other young girls to see me (heavier girls that is). Wrestling awakens feelings I’ve never felt, endurance I never knew I had, and determination. My pride has learned to be controlled through this sport and that is something I will carry and preach throughout my years in this sport. Honestly wrestling only calls the best of the best and I plan to answer its call. This is my sport.
Pt.2 “First Match” Movie name
I like it alot it was a girl in extreme mental, physical, and emotional pain but wrestling got her through it. It gave her a real family (the team) and in the end reminded her dad of how great she was. The movie helped me reflect on how hard it is for eveyone in the sport and not just me. Monique(the main character and wrestler) worked her butt off to be the greatest everyday and wrestled dudes. So there is a choice to be great and wish to be great. Im going to do better If I wanna be A D1 wrestler I got to put myself under the pressure and make that dream turn into reality. The movie taught me to wish and to do are very different things. So, from now on im going to do, wrestling is more than a sport its a mentality and im proud to say Im going to do do great.
