Addyson Pasley '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Addyson Pasley, however I go by Addy. I am 16 years old and started wrestling my freshman year! My mom and I coach a tumbling program through our local YMCA and my dad coaches youth wrestling, youth football, and youth soccer. My family is very sports-driven, meaning I've been pushed in and out of the house. I'm a well-rounded athlete and strive to be the best in every sport I play. I've been told I'm very coachable. I'm a leader on and off the mat and love to lift up everyone around me. I'm currently a junior in high school and a member of the varsity cheer squad, varsity wrestling, and varsity soccer teams. I am dedicated to my schoolwork and work hard at everything I do. I was a 2021 State qualifier for wrestling and most recently a 2023 State qualifier and medalist with a 6th place finish overall. I helped my team earn a 2nd place finish at our district tournament both in 2021 and 2023 as well. While I do enjoy playing soccer, I am more interested in wrestling at the collegiate level. I have plans to attend camps and events this spring and summer to learn more about freestyle wrestling. When I'm not playing sports, I enjoy giving back to the youth by helping at practices, lifeguarding at our local pool, hanging with my family and supporting other teams at our school. I'm hoping to become a member of NHS, student council or other clubs in the next year. I strive to maintain a GPA above 3.5 and am currently enrolled in Dual Credit courses to help further my education.
