Hi. My name is Kristen and I am a Junior at West Platte High School in Weston, Missouri. I have been wrestling since my freshman year and fell in love with the sport. I have dedicated this off season training with a club to sharpen my skills in Freestyle and Greco-Roman. This will be my first year competing in Freestyle and Greco-Roman. I am the only women's wrestler for my high school team for the last 2 years and last year I single handedly placed my team 18th out of 33 teams at a tournament. I have been a member of NHS since my Sophmore year. I participate in Science Club, Yearbook, and Musical Production Crew. I am a volunteer fundraiser for Feed Northland Kids, non-profit that collects food items and money to distribute to children in the North Kansas City area. I am a member of the Missouri Stream Team, a non-profit organization that coordinates clean up events along Missouri's rivers and streams. I plan to major in Digital Media with an emphasis in Computer Animation.
