Personal Statement
Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed engaging in any physical activity and would love to pursue my career in the field of sports medicine. My ambition is to become a fully qualified team physician for professional athletes. Having found a passion for wrestling in 2018, within two years I was a national placer, and greco state champion. I feel that much of my personal development can be attributed to my involvement in sports. From volunteering for many things around my community to sports I have played, I have possessed a plethora of traits such as extraversion, agreeableness, openness, and an unbreakable mindset. After a shoulder and rib injury that took me out all season, the mental toughness I have learned from training and wrestling has allowed me to stay disciplined in my commitment to recovery. Although I will only be a freshman next year, I am very energetic, outgoing, and dedicated to accomplishing my goals. My drive and dedication is what would make me a good leader for your team.
